The White House.

"Mr President, the reports portray a growing security issue - potentially so severe that if left for 3-6 months to further develop, we could be facing a global catastrophe. Pakistan must be contained immediately, " reported Jack S.

"Yes, I see, I read over the report this morning and I completely agree - we can't delay any further. Annmaree, please arrange for a direct line to Pakistan's President asap. Jack, please finalise our recommended strategy for Pakistan to follow to deal with the extremists. "

"Mr President, President Zardari is on the line."

"Thank you, Annmaree."

"President Zardari, thank you for your prompt attention, the situation is escalating and we must deal with things swiftly."

"Mr President, I can assure you we are dealing with things with the utmost sincerity and urgency. We will provide you with all the information we can possibly put together. Is there anything we can do right now to alleviate your worries?"

"Mr President, let me be absolutely frank with you. We have reports of the circumstances - more than enough. Your local government's deal with the Islamic group in recent months was of course a major concern for us, but the growing numbers and movement towards the capital areas of Pakistan can only mean one goal for them. Given that these same extremists targeted US positions from these same areas and have constantly threatened and proven their threats against US citizens, we only now see a clear danger to US and allies security. To put a complicated story into simple words, Pakistan is fast becoming a global threat, and having nuclear weapons close to the grasp of extremists, we will have no option other than to remove that threat - and I think you know what I am referring to, Mr President."

"I see. Yes, I understand what you are saying. What is your suggestion to avoid this?"

"We have compiled a number of offensive strategies, both military and political in nature. We see that within 3-6 months without intervention, we would have to strike against Pakistan with devastating force - for many areas and people. Of course we do not want this to happen, so we believe there is no other way but for you to fully cooperate and follow or work with us to roll out these strategies. Firstly, you must rescind the deal. The Islamic group has obviously not fulfilled their side of the deal and gives you immediate grounds to close it down immediately. Next, you must send in at least 10,000 troops to clear them out - we will provide a further 20,000 - this must be a full-throttle, non-stop offensive to rid the area of all the extremists. Third, we do not stop there - we pummel their safe-houses and commandeered villages and any other areas with Drones and follow-up with the troops moving forward, completely clearing all areas. You will receive the report shortly and our military advisors will be with your team by the end of this week. I know you see how gravely this situation is for not only us, but for the survival and stability of Pakistan."

"Yes, Mr President. We were afraid things would come to this - we had hoped we could try to meet the Islamic needs of the populations, but did not foresee that they had been so entrenched with extremists. Our people do not want this, we do not want this, so we are in agreement with your country's position. We will provide full support and follow your recommendations without debate. We wait for your reports and advisors and shall speak to your in the near future."

"Thank you President Zardari, your sincere understanding and support in following our recommendations is assuring. Let's arrange another call by the end of this week. Thank you very much for your time. Good bye."

"Good bye Mr President."
